The room was excellent. However it was next door to a fun fair which did not close until 11.00 pm. We found the lounges very unfriendly, no catering for non smokers, the pub was most dreary and uninviting for a location like that. The leisure centre was very mediocre and dirty. No facilities for an adult swim. In other words we thought it expensive and have been in lots of 3* hotels that were better.

We enjoyed our stay at the Galway Bay hotel. The hotel is on a beautiful beach front overlooking the bay. The location is a bit far from the center of Galway but close to a smaller town with pubs and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were average and a bit expensive. The breakfast was also quite average but again the staff at breakfast were excellent.
